We aim to find emerging, rising, returning and cooling topics through evidence from relevant sources, not simply catchy keywords.
Trend states and graphs must be understandable, source-backed and honestly labeled.
We aim to find emerging, rising, returning and cooling topics through evidence from relevant sources, not simply catchy keywords.
Each topic has its own history, so a returning trend can be understood alongside its earlier activity rather than treated as a brand-new event.
Claims about why a topic is moving require corroborating events, voices and records. People's opinions should be attributed, not promoted as objective facts.
Newly observed activity that may be growing; not proof it will become mainstream.
An increase supported by a defined observation method and comparison period.
Rapid growth from a relatively low baseline; small starting samples can exaggerate percentages.
A topic with a prior activity cycle receiving renewed attention.
A decrease in an identified activity measure, not a verdict about the topic's quality.
A real chart must state its source, units, dates, time period and baseline. Search interest, article counts, video views and discussion mentions are different measures; MetricBuyer must not combine them into an invented universal score.
For this prototype, every percentage, chart and timeline uses fictional sample values to demonstrate layout and interaction only.
We intend to preserve source attribution, distinguish personal experience from independently supported statements, flag uncertainty, and correct material errors. We do not claim the live research system is running or these sample stories have been verified.
